NEW IN 2025

Exciting things are happening in and through the Northpark Church family!

And just like in all things, seasons change, growth happens, and new things come forth. As Pastor Chris shared in the video above, a new season is coming to the Northpark family in January 2025, and we are excited to see what God has planned for our church as a whole, each of YOU as individuals, and our communities that we serve. The best is yet to come!

INFO + QUESTIONS

In one sentence or less – in January 2025, the Northpark family will no longer meet at River Bend Middle School, but will meet at our current Community Campus property at 4529 Purnell Rd, Wake Forest, NC on Sunday morning, weekly at 10:00am.

In all things, we are committed to being led by God. Through prayer and fasting on Pastor Chris’s part, and of course prayer by the staff and Elders of Northpark, we found that this was a direction we felt God leading us in as a church family. This property was given to us in 2022 debt free. Since then, we have renovated and upgraded many aspects of the property and continue to do so, and while the dream of a community building space of our own is still in our hearts for the future, a move to this property in the meantime feels like the next step. It will not be permanent, but will serve great purpose, and we plan to steward it well while it’s in our hands.

This decision for change came through lots of prayer and guidance by the Holy Spirit as well as an intentional time of praying and fasting by Pastor Chris. Our team took every step in the process to the Lord, as well as consulted trusted mentors, coaches, the ENC Church of God State Bishop, as well as the Northpark Staff and Elders.

Our last Sunday morning at River Bend Middle School will be Sunday, December 22, 2024. Then our Christmas Eve service on Tuesday, December 24, will take place at the Wake Forest property (4529 Purnell Rd). Sunday, December 29, will be an online-only service, and Sunday, January 5, 2025 will begin our weekly gathering time at the Wake Forest Property.

The biggest difference is simply location. This building represents so much more than just walls and a roof—it’s a space where we can worship freely, gather more often, and grow deeper in discipleship. We plan to have additional Life Group meetings, YTH gatherings, events for Young Adults, Ladies and Men’s Ministries, community outreach, and more.

As we step into this next season, we believe that God is preparing something special for our church—and we want you to be a part of it! We’re asking each of you to join us in prayer, seeking God’s strength and unity as we follow His leading. There will also be opportunities to help in tangible ways, like church work days and more.

Together, let’s pray for open doors, transformed lives, and a deeper sense of purpose in our ministry. Your prayers and your presence are powerful, and we’re excited to see how God will work through each of us. With renewed vision and purpose, we’re stepping forward in faith, trusting that God will continue to lead us and use us to make a difference.
