ser•vo•lu•tion (noun)a revolution of service

SERVOLUTION is the name of our community outreach ministry at Northpark Church. Our goal is to start a service revolution in our cities and across the world. Serving God and others is our top priority. We believe SERVOLUTION is the difference we as a church need to show people both locally and abroad the love of Jesus. Ultimately, we want to change lives by showing the endless love and grace that is provided to us as followers of Christ.

Specific community outreach efforts and opportunities will be posted below as they arise throughout the year.

Join us for the SERVOLUTION!

Northpark, Family: one of our very own – Ms Lottie Moore – has been displaced from her home temporarily due to a house fire on May 22. Thankfully Ms Lottie is ok, but understandably shaken up as things could have been so much worse.

If you don’t know Ms Lottie, you are missing out. She is one of the “grandmothers” of Northpark and serves her community more than anyone we know. She has served as president of the the InterCommunity Council for Residents of Raleigh Housing for more than 18 years, opened food pantries, started Food Shuttle Mobile Markets, introduced partnerships for kids programs in various neighborhoods, and more! Now it’s out turn to help her!

Renovations will begin this week on her home, but she will not be able go back there for about 4-8 weeks. And of course things were lost in the fire that we can help her replace. Thankfully, items in her living room and kitchen were untouched, but all items in her bedroom (clothes, shoes, furniture, rugs, curtains, bed, etc) were destroyed.

In good times and bad, the Church takes care of each other. It’s what we do! If you feel led to help support and encourage Ms Lottie during this season in any of the following ways, please do!

Prayer is powerful and we know Ms Lottie appreciates it above all else! Please pray for peace and strength for her during this time. Pray for renovations to happen effectively and quickly. And pray she feels more loved and taken care of by God and her church family & friends than ever before.

Cards of encouragement and cheer will bring more joy to her in this time than you may ever know. If you have a moment to send her a card, or if you have kids and they want to make a card or draw a picture too, that would be oh-so-great!

Cards can be sent to the church mailbox and will be delivered to her every few days:
