1st & 3rd Wednesdays of Each Month

For the past six years, Northpark has partnered with The Oaks Community and the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle to host a bi-weekly Mobile Market and provide FREE food for anyone in our community that needs it. Local grocers and farms donate produce, meat, bread, desserts, dry goods, and more, and the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle delivers these donations to The Oaks neighborhood (near Sanderson High School) every other week.

A team of volunteers (that’s us!) helps unload the donation boxes, organize the foods, and then pre-packs large boxes with various foods for those who stop by. The truck typically arrives around 12:00/12:15PM on it’s scheduled weeks and the unpacking/sorting is typically done between 1:30-2:00PM. Distribution happens after that until 3:00 or 4:00PM.

Want to help?

If you would like to volunteer one, or even multiple Wednesdays, or if you would like additional information, contact Stephanie at stephanie@northparkrdu.com!

Volunteers are needed and welcome for all or only part of the market times, so please don’t hesitate if you can only help for one or two hours!

(Must be 18 or older per Food Shuttle guidelines.)

NEW DATE!!!
Sun, March 22, 2026

Due to snow in January, our annual NP Chili Cook Off had to be postponed, so we decided NCAA Basketball & March Madness felt like a good alternative!

This event is fun for watching the games that will be streamed during the event, and it’s also a great excuse to get together as a church family. Come out to Northpark’s Community Campus in Wake Forest on Sun, March 22, between 5:30-8:30pm to view a few of the college basketball games in the NCAA Tournament that night AND check out the 4th Annual NP Chili Cook Off!

You can…
1) Participate in the chili cook off by registering at the link on this page!
2) Sign up to bring a side/topping instead of chili!
3) Simply show up, enjoy the games, sample all the food, and help vote!

***Register to participate in the cook-off by Fri, Mar 20 at 11:59pm!

This is a family event (all ages!) so everyone is encouraged to wear your favorite team’s colors/jersey and connect with your church fam, new and old!

More than 1.4 million residents of North Carolina, including 82,000 Wake County residents, enrolled in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) did not receive new benefits issued in November due to the current federal government shutdown.

Food insecurity is expected to be at an all time high in our church family, in our neighborhoods, and in the broader community throughout the next few months, and we have the opportunity to help kids and families in several different ways!

Ladies of Northpark! This year, the Ladies Ministry team is adding several social gatherings to the calendar, between our more formal Ladies Ministry events. These are opportunities to connect more, relax, and have some fun together.

Upcoming Ladies Social Gatherings will be listed HERE throughout the year. Check back often to stay up to date!

Merch can be a great conversation starter for sharing your story or inviting others to join you for church, online or in person. And your order ships directly to you or the recipient of your choice!
Prices are set as close to production cost as possible, but any profits that are made from online merch sales between now and the end of the year will go toward Northpark’s 2024 mission efforts in our communities, Nicaragua, and around the world!

Child Dedication at Northpark is an incredibly special (and absolutely adorable!) event wherein we come alongside families and commit to the Christian nurture of and Godly example to their young children. (Typically Birth-Age 5)

These dedications are held as part of our Sunday morning worship services, and registered families are asked to join Pastor Chris on the stage as we pray specifically over each precious child and their parents/guardians.

Please us know HERE so we can send you an email with resources and information to help you grow in your faith.

We are praying for and with you and we are cheering you on!

Northpark exists to help build life-long followers of Jesus, and one of the ways we do that is by pastoring our cities and meeting needs in our communities.

While we have ideas and resources as a staff, we would love to hear from YOU – our Northpark family! If you have an idea for a service project or community outreach event that we might could possibly participate in or take on, please fill out the form below to let us know!

Click HERE for the SERVICE PROJECT IDEAS FORM!

This could be partnering or volunteering with a local organization, helping a community member who is elderly or unable to complete a task such as yard work, building a ramp, etc., meeting tangible needs of a single parent, the list goes on!

Your input and voice matter and we are thankful to have a church family that seeks out ways to serve! We will prayerfully consider all ideas and take on projects based on timing, availability, resources, and the leading of the Holy Spirit!

One of our goals for 2022 is to put more resources in the hands of the Northpark family as we continue our journey as life-long followers of Jesus. It’s our prayer that these resources in their various forms create opportunities to learn more about Christ and His character, who He has created you to be, and how to apply all that you’ve learned to every aspect of your life!

ONE great resource that we are excited to offer beginning this month is RightNow Media! A quick and simple way to describe it would be Netflix but for Bible study resources. Within RNM, there are currently more than 20,000 discipleship, devotion, and Bible study resources for the Northpark family – kids, youth, and adults!  This is available to anyone at Northpark and in your family for free.  You can access videos, lessons, quick studies and long term ones, and more – any time of day.

Simply click HERE or the graphic above to create your free account and then begin exploring and growing your relationship with God like never before!

The Northpark family meets in person weekly at River Bend Middle School (5601 Wallace Martin Way, Raleigh, NC) AND in the current season of coronavirus/COVID-19, we are gathering together ONLINE every Sunday at 10:00am at NorthparkRDU.com and on Facebook.

We can’t wait to connect with YOU there!
